Food is really good and fresh and the staff is super friendly

I tried this place a couple of times. I read through the reviews before I posted. I wanted to be sure I wasn’t imagining things but other patrons posted what I felt happened also. Although the food was good, I also felt like I was discriminated against the first time by my actual waitress who never came and another waitress had to take her table. Openly discriminating. No one did anything about it. Second I took my kids and neighbor kids who are African American and we were stared at the whole time. I’ve never gone back. They cater to a specific clientele and I won’t be giving them my business. Beware of this restaurant if you are a person of color. You should be able to enjoy your food without ignorant judgement of who you are. I am Hispanic.

Service was fantastic, can't say enough about how friendly and attentive they are. Food was great and price was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

OK so I got to say WOW! This is the first time I have eaten at this place and it did not disappoint. I had take out and the food was warm and delicious. I will defiantly be going back for their buffet. People were very Friendly and when I asked for extra Gravy they showed me just to make sure it was enough. I can see why this is a Kennesaw Staple. Oh Good God the Cobbler! Please don't tell the wife I cheated on her cobbler!

Good southern cooking. A very casual restaurant with a menu or buffet. Great fried chicken. I didn't think the veggies were as good today. (They were kind of bland.) Still, a buffet for $9 is a great price.

You feel right at home whenever you walk through the door. The service is amazing; everyone is very friendly! Prices are low and the buffet has a great selection. They serve homegrown tomatoes and you can tell everything is made from scratch. Overall a great lil' spot!

Southern home cooking.. breakfast buffet and lunch/dinner buffet. They also have menus you can order off of. Very good food and friendly service.

I would definitely thought that I was at my Grandmother's house. It was very good and I also enjoy the atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

This is always how I want a country buffet to taste and am always disappointed until now! Great food! The green beans, corn taters and basically everything I tried was excellent. Great fried chicken. Glad we found this place!

We stopped in to Daddy's for breakfast (I've driven by dozens of times and never noticed it) and was pretty happy with their breakfast buffet. Amazingly kind and attentive staff. It's "country" so don't expect egg whites and fire grilled turkey sausage either! If you're in the mood for just "good ol' fashion" breakfast you won't be let down. I'm looking forward to trying their daily buffet specials.

Been eating g here for over 30+ years and always had good food and service. You will most definitely not leave hungry. Weather you just want a salad it the buffet or order off the menu I believe you will enjoy your meal. Never left unhappy with the food or service in over 30+ years. Possibly over 40+ years of eating there before they moved to their new location.

Good country cooking served by good people. They have an all you can eat buffet that has a great selection of meats and vegetables also a salad bar or you can order from the menu. Their chicken is always good and they have dressing every day which I don't know of any that is better except mom's. The breakfast is also very good with a buffet and a menu selection. Anytime you're in the area its well worth taking time to eat at Daddy's no matter what time of day.

I have been eating here since I was a small child. This has always been one my top 3 favorites to get some homemade country cooking. Buffet style and the price is right at $9 for the buffet, tea included. Don't miss out on this sweet little spot. 🤤💞

My first time going I was there at 6:15am on Thursday 09/12/19. It was Great the food was fresh and hot. It was better than McDonald's, Golden Corral, Burger King. I got a breakfast plate sausages, bacon grits eggs and a biscuit for $4.50. Great price and the young lady who work there was friendly and nice. This place desire A Great Thumps Up....

Went for breakfast but was too late. Had to settle for the lunch buffet and boy was it worth it!! Great fried chicken, fried fish, hamburger steak, corn, green beans and a bunch of other fixings. Only problem was I got too dang full to try what looked to be amazing peach cobbler for dessert. And our waitress Melinda was the bomb! Checked on us numerous times and made what started out to be a disappointing time into a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this place!!

The staff was greatly friendly, but they had a breakfast buffet going on for $9. It was horrible. . They need to get some Cooks in there because it's a really cool place, but it needs some soul in the food. All the love is out of the food. Sorry, I had to report that.

The food is amazing! It's much better than any other country style buffet places that I've been to and they've got a great selection without too many options. The staff there are really friendly. I can't wait to try their breakfast buffet on Saturday mornings!

Best country kitchen cooking anywhere in the area! Went there often as an evening out, great service, exceptional cooking, and a buffet that cannot be beaten!

Such great food and such terrific service. Charming, comfortable, homey. It’s become our favorite place when we need a good, hearty meal. With a different special entree and fruit cobbler every day, we have something to look forward to that we can count on. Cornbread muffins in the bread basket, and choice of coffee or tea included with the buffet — what’s not to like?

Service was gd and food good. But person collecting the money, needs to work on her people skills. When waitress says you can have both coffee and tea for same price. Then u need to respect that price. Its call customer service, please learn it.

The peach cobbler was good and the fried fish was good everything else... Meh!!! Disappointment, probably won't go back certainly not worth the 20 + tip for a buffet.

Excellent all-you-can-eat country cooking buffet ($9). The fried chicken is outstanding.

They offer an awesome variety of fresh food. I loved dining here. Employees are always very welcoming, pricing is reasonable and the spot is always clean.

Went on a Monday at 6pm. The staff and service is great! Nice little salad bar with homemade delicious tater salad and macaroni salad. The fried chicken is (in my opinion) the best around. The collard greens were fresh and cooked to perfection. The green beans are canned but cooked and seasoned well. I like the cornbread but unfortunately the dressing for me is over seasoned and dry. Others at the table agreed. My husband loved the chicken livers. The one thing I don’t understand is why they use canned potatoes for the scalloped dish. The cobbler is always good (love the crust). Word of mouth is Seafood Friday is really good and expect to pay more for the buffet.

Passed by here a hundred times but have never gone, until a coworker took me in. I’ve only gone on Monday, buffet or order off menu. We’ve gotten buffet every time. On Monday they have fried chicken with sides, fried livers, and cherry cobbler. It’s pretty friggin good for $9 all you can eat!!! Oh,They bring a pitcher of whatever your drinking so you don’t have to wait for a refill. Solid!

I love the Buffett. Some days I like it better than other days but it just depends on what's on it. Wednesdays they usually have great homemade southern chicken and dumplings. Mondays are usually fried chicken livers but I miss mashed potatoes on those days. Cherry cobbler day is the best but I don't have what day that is. Its always some good southern food with good fried chicken every day.
